Register rules

  • Ring Build Your Own as one item at $16.50, then add choices. Shrimp (+$1.50), guacamole (+$1) and white queso (+$1) are added from the choice buttons, never by changing the price by hand.
  • Any allergy: add a note that starts with ALLERGY: and tell the kitchen lead before the order is cooked.
  • Cactus Burritos are one button for two burritos. Do not ring it twice.
  • Agua Fresca: check the flavor of the day and type it in the item note.
  • Read the order back to the guest before you take payment.
  • The menu advisory prints on the receipt: items may be cooked to order; consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, or shellfish increases your risk of foodborne illness. Be ready to explain it politely.

Allergen matrix

Contains means it is an intentional ingredient. Depends means it changes with the guest's choices. Fryer means cross-contact is possible because chips, fries and the Cactus Burritos share a fryer (demo assumption). Eggs, fish, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and soy are not intentional ingredients in the demo recipes, but always check labels with the kitchen lead.
